Lately I’ve been quite fond of illusional art. Does that make me delusional about it? Well, it does make me think.

I think illusions themselves are rather cool concepts. When you believe in it, for a second you live in a sort of surreal dimension that doesn’t exist. But then the wall is shattered and you return back to reality–the reality that you’re a gullible type.

Illusions in art become surrealism, which is basically a schmancy name for “not real”. In surrealism, your brain knots harder than sailors do, but they offer a sense of entertainment for the enjoyer. Is enjoyer a word? It is now.

Sit back, relax, and try to analyze the surrealistic mess created by Tang Yau Hoong. Just kidding, it’s amazing.
